ABOUT GAIL STEINGOLD
NATIONALLY-KNOWN EXPERT IN LONG TERM CARE
Gail Steingold is the founder and principal of Burling Insurance Group Long Term Care established in 2003. She brings a unique background of long-term healthcare service delivery with the development and marketing of long-term care individual and group insurance. She has consulted and implemented association and employer sponsored true and multi-life group LTC programs for over a decade.
Gail served as director of marketing for Warren Barr Pavilion, a Medicare-certified nursing facility in downtown Chicago. Licensed since 1992 she fulfilled the role of LTC Product Manager for Washington National Insurance Company Education Division, National Account Director for The Long Term Care Group and as a national Practice Leader for the former Near North Insurance Brokerage, one of the largest commercial brokerages in the country. Gail has been a member of the Million Dollar Round Table and has been recognized nationally for her sales achievements both in individual and group long term care business by the American Association of Long Term Care Insurance (AALTCI).
Gail has authored industry articles for the Society of Actuaries Group LTC division, Employees Benefits Digest and has been quoted in other industry publications regarding employer sponsored LTCi including The National Underwriter. Additionally, Gail served as a member of several industry organizations, including the Caregiver Taskforce for the National Council on Aging, the American Association for Long Term Care Insurance, the Worldwide Employee Benefits Network and the American Speech/Language and Hearing Association. Gail serves as a community ambassador for the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago. She holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in communicative disorders from University of Wisconsin–Madison.
